Just Another Day

Hello again. It is Sunday June 10th.
I got up at 9:00 this morning and had my cup of coffee. While drinking it I read through my O magazine. Yes I do read a lot. I'm also reading the Fifty Shades books. I love to read.
I ate French Toast for breakfast with a glass of juice.
Then I watered all my plants which include about 22 African Violets. I grow them from the leaves. That's why I have so many. I just love to grow things.
OK I watched some TV today. I've gotten hooked on Eureka and I'm on episode 29 but there are 63. So I'd better get busy. Ha ha. I also watched a new show about our earth on the National Geographic channel. It was really good.
I BBQ'd some chicken for dinner with sweet corn and salad.  It was very good and enough left over for hubs for lunch tomorrow.
I didn't go out tonight well except in my own yard.

OK let's see how last years day went.

I got up at 8am. Cleaned my kitchen. Had my coffee and read a magazine in my backyard. I met with my girlfriend Carla for our regular Friday date. We go out to the movies, or to yard sales, or to new stores. Then somewhere new to eat each time. There were many years where we did not get to see each other, we only spoke on the phone or communicated in e-mails. But we have been friends for more than 30 yrs. I see i wrote that we ate at Joe's Crab Shack. I love that place.
We stopped at Cost Plus and bought some wine. Another of my loves, to always try different wines.
I got home at 2:30 pm and watched some of my soaps. They were still on.
I fixed dinner but it doesn't say what I made.
I got dressed and Fanny and I went across the street to the casino. We decided not to go downtown or to the strip even though I'm sure there must have been a friend playing somewhere. We went into the ETA Lounge to here my friend Rick sing. We stayed about an hour then went out to walk around and talk to other friends.  We left to go home about midnight.
Well it seems that is it for tonight.
I am a creature of habit it seems. But believe me I do many things some of which never make it to my journal.
